What language is the tour conducted in?

All tours are conducted in English.

How do I pay?

I will send an e-invoice that allows birders to securely pay using a debit/credit card. There is no need for a complicated money transfer. I also accept US and Namibian cash on the day of the tour.

Will I get a refund if it's rained out? 

Windhoek has 300+ days of sunshine each year. However, in the event that we have to cancel the tour due to rain, a full refund will be issued to your card.

What about other refund situations? 

A 100% no-questions-asked refund will be issued if you cancel within 2 weeks of the tour date. If you cancel after that, a 50% refund will be issued.
 

Will I see every bird on my list?

Every birder already knows the answer to this question. Birds can be fickle and even the most reliable species sometimes take a day off.

Do the tours require extreme physical activity?

I'm happy to climb mountains, if that's what you like. We can also stay on mostly flat ground or find places to sit and scope if that's more what you're into.
