Tour Modes

I can cater to any type of birder—beginner to advanced, active hiker to scope-lover. Understanding your objectives before the tour begins helps me plan the best day possible for meeting your birding objectives. Most birders I meet fall into one or more of these archetypes:

The List Builder

You want to rack up as many species as possible for your Life and/or Namibia List and you're ready to go hard to do it.

The Photographer/Recordist

Your main objective is capturing beautiful images or recordings. If the light's bad or the wind's blowing, we might as well find a shady spot to wait it out.

The Leisure Birder

You love birds, and you'll add them to your list, but mainly you enjoy being out in nature at a reasonable pace and intensity; you wouldn't mind seeing a few mammals too.

The Targeter

You have specific species that you want to find. We should skip over every common bird in pursuit of remedying those gaps in your list.
